Wow.. July 11th is almost here...I remember the first days here. When we came for the opening night to meet all the girls. I remember walking into the room and right away Kamala greeting me. She told me to go get a name tag and introduced me to Rocio (that night Rocio was the name tag monitor). As I was looking around the room I met Brenda, she was this tall cute little girl standing alone in some corner. Me and her were like instantly friends.
As classes went by I got to get to know the girls more (I remember one of my favorite classes we had when we had the actors... dance like no one is watching she told us - and we did). I learned a lot from each girl.
Like Jessica, she loves Pit-bull (one joke I always told her was I have a Pitbull, do u think he sings the Anthem?).
Maria is a strange little critter. Me and her had our funny moments, but she is like a small mother to me (very small).
Martha is quiet, smart, but when you get her alone with her she would talk for hours she's so funny.
Diana, a girl that reminds me so much about me when I was way younger, she's silly and fun to hang around with.
Sussete a girl I knew from my school. We didn't talk a lot when we saw each other in the hallways, but got closer in this program.
Rocio, the smartest chick I know (damn that girl got's a huge brain) without her I probably would be stuck all the time with my words (she always finishes my sentences) .
Finally there's Brenda, the cool chick I met from the beginning (we love to dance and giggle in the corner).
I think she was the closest to me, but in the end everyone got close -- even the staff. The memories I am going to carry on when I leave, I will never forget them. We cried, we laughed and we showed the world what we were made of!
